Revelation: Know What's Next
The promise of heaven is one of the greatest sources of hope for every believer, yet much of what people believe about heaven comes from tradition instead of Scripture. In this message, we turn to Revelation 21 and 22 and discover God's own description of the eternal home He has prepared for those who know Jesus Christ. The New Jerusalem is presented as a real city filled with the glory of God—a place of unimaginable beauty with gates of pearl, streets of gold, the River of Life, and the Tree of Life. More importantly, it is the place where God Himself will dwell with His redeemed people forever. The greatest joy of heaven is not simply what is there, but Who is there. This message also reminds us of the wonderful promises awaiting every believer: there will be no more death, sorrow, pain, darkness, sin, or curse. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we can know with confidence that heaven is our eternal home—not because of our goodness, but because of His grace and finished work on the cross.
