About this sermon
In this opening message of a new Sunday morning series, Pastor Bill Monroe introduces the Book of Revelation—God’s final written word to man. Revelation was written to be understood. In this message, Pastor Monroe explains that Revelation completes what began in Genesis and shows that history is not moving toward chaos, but toward God’s appointed conclusion. Written by the Apostle John near the end of the first century, Revelation unveils Jesus Christ in His glory—Alpha and Omega, the Almighty, the One who was, is, and is to come. This foundational message establishes the purpose of Revelation, the centrality of Jesus Christ, and the blessing God promises to those who read, hear, and keep the words of this book.
