The return of Jesus Christ is one of the Bible's greatest promises and one of its most discussed prophetic subjects. In this message from Revelation 1 and Revelation 22, we compare the Scriptures describing Christ's coming "as a thief" with those declaring that "every eye shall see Him." We examine the biblical sequence of the Rapture, the resurrection of believers, the Tribulation, and Christ's visible return to earth. Along the way, we are reminded that prophecy is not given to produce fear or speculation but to encourage faithful living, steadfast hope, and confident expectation as we await our Savior. The world may be growing darker, but God's people have every reason to lift their eyes toward heaven. Jesus Christ has promised to return, and His promises have never failed.
