Revelation: Know What's Next

What makes the Bible unlike every other book ever written? As Revelation closes, God repeatedly calls our attention to one simple phrase: "this book." Those two words remind us that the Bible is not merely a collection of ancient writings but God's inspired revelation of Jesus Christ, completely trustworthy and filled with life-changing truth. In this message we discover three foundational truths. First, this Book is Christ-centered. Every chapter of Revelation points us to Jesus Christ—from His redeeming work on the cross to His ministry among His churches, His righteous judgment, His glorious return, His earthly kingdom, and His eternal reign. The Bible is ultimately His story. Second, this Book is true. Scripture is faithful, dependable, and inspired by God. Throughout history it has been preserved despite relentless opposition, and its manuscript evidence, fulfilled prophecy, historical reliability, and archaeological confirmation provide compelling reasons to trust every word. Finally, this Book brings a blessing. God promises blessing to those who read, hear, and obey His Word. As we submit ourselves to Scripture, we find peace, hope, guidance, assurance, and ultimately the Savior to whom every page points—Jesus Christ. No matter where you are today, God's Word still has the power to change your life because it continually reveals the Lord Jesus Christ. Scripture: Revelation 22:6 –19
